報告題目：Application of Solid Mechanics in Additive Manufacturing

專家介紹：Prof .Wenyi Yan obtained his his Bachelor and Masters Degrees from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and his PhD degree from Tsinghua University in 1995. Currently, he is working at the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace, Monash University, Australia. His current research interests include railway wheel/rail contact mechanics and wear, structural optimisation, mechanics of materials and structures, fracture and fatigue. Dr Yan and his co-workers have been awarded 14 research grants from the Australian Research Council since 2006. Dr Yan has supervised to completion 25 PhDs and 6 Masters. Currently, he is supervising and co-supervising 16 PhD students. In total, Prof Yan has published 3 book chapters, 180 journal papers. His H-index is 43 according to Google Scholar.
